## The short answer

Upward365 is a focused performance and engagement platform for companies of 50 to 2,000 employees, built around one question: will your managers use it? Every design decision had to answer yes. Every account gets a named Account Manager who knows your configuration, and every Upward365 feature comes at one published price. 15Five sells three tiers, with engagement surveys in one, reviews and goals in another, and both together in the top plan. The practical difference is one platform your managers open and a person who picks up the phone, against a tier decision about which half of the picture your managers get to see.

What is the difference between Upward365 and 15Five?

Upward365 is a performance and engagement platform for companies between 50 and 2,000 employees, built for manager adoption, with a dedicated Account Manager on every account and every Upward365 feature included at $8 per user per month. 15Five splits engagement and performance across separate tiers, with both together in its Total Platform plan at $16 per user per month. The practical difference is one focused product with a person behind it against a tier structure you choose between.

#### What both platforms cover, and what Upward365 adds

## The core is on both. The difference is what comes with it.

Both platforms run reviews and 360 reviews, goals, recognition, 1:1 agendas, year-round check-ins, pulse surveys and eNPS. Upward365 covers that core, plus:

---

Engagement and performance in the same purchase.

On 15Five, a team on the Perform plan does not get engagement surveys. On Upward365, Pulse Surveys, eNPS, Reviews and Goals are one platform, and Reports read across both.

A named Account Manager with a direct number,

from your first call through setup and every renewal after it.

A price that holds.

Your rate is locked for your full contract term, and it is published.

Why managers open it

## A platform only pays off if managers use it between review cycles.

![managers\_see\_what\_is\_due\_without\_being\_chased\_3x](https://upward365.com/hs-fs/hubfs/landing%20page%20assets/managers_see_what_is_due_without_being_chased_3x.webp?width=1824&height=1269&name=managers_see_what_is_due_without_being_chased_3x.webp "managers_see_what_is_due_without_being_chased_3x")

#### Managers see what is due without being chased.

The Dashboard To Do Queue shows every manager what needs attention and links straight to it, so HR stops sending reminder emails in December.

![every\_one\_on\_one\_has\_an\_agenda\_before\_it\_starts\_3x](https://upward365.com/hs-fs/hubfs/landing%20page%20assets/every_one_on_one_has_an_agenda_before_it_starts_3x.webp?width=1824&height=1269&name=every_one_on_one_has_an_agenda_before_it_starts_3x.webp "every_one_on_one_has_an_agenda_before_it_starts_3x")

#### Every 1:1 has an agenda before it starts.

Briefings give managers and employees a shared agenda, so the platform is part of the conversation instead of an extra step after it.

![the\_annual\_review\_arrives\_with\_the\_year\_already\_in\_it\_3x](https://upward365.com/hs-fs/hubfs/landing%20page%20assets/the_annual_review_arrives_with_the_year_already_in_it_3x.webp?width=608&height=423&name=the_annual_review_arrives_with_the_year_already_in_it_3x.webp "the_annual_review_arrives_with_the_year_already_in_it_3x")

#### The annual review arrives with the year already in it.

Notes, Uplifts and Flight Checks capture context as the year happens. History Hub surfaces it the moment the review opens, so the manager reads twelve months instead of reconstructing them. Annual reviews are the payoff of that year-round context, not a thing to get rid of.

![engagement\_sits\_next\_to\_performance\_3x](https://upward365.com/hs-fs/hubfs/landing%20page%20assets/engagement_sits_next_to_performance_3x.webp?width=1824&height=1269&name=engagement_sits_next_to_performance_3x.webp "engagement_sits_next_to_performance_3x")

#### Engagement sits next to performance.

A dip in one is how you find out about the other in time to act. Reports pull both into a single layer for leadership.

A real person who knows your account

## One Account Manager, from your first call onward.

Every Upward365 account gets a named Account Manager who handles your demo, implementation, configuration and ongoing support. Your Upward365 Account Manager knows how your review calendar is set up, you have their direct number, and questions and calls get an answer the same day. There is no handoff from sales to implementation to customer success, and the founders are reachable when you want them.

#### One call to see whether it fits.

No pressure ever, and if the answer is no, we will say so on the call rather than after it. But the transition from another platform to Upward365 is straightforward and relatively easy.

![import-icon](https://upward365.com/hubfs/landing%20page%20assets/import-icon.svg "import-icon")

#### Your Upward365 Account Manager sets it up around your calendar.

They work with you to configure the platform around how your review cycle already works and run your training sessions online. You can often import your team and start the same week, and most accounts are fully live within a month, and often sooner, depending on your availability.

![U365 - MAINT - Icon - Landing Page - Calendar](https://upward365.com/hubfs/landing%20page%20assets/U365%20-%20MAINT%20-%20Icon%20-%20Landing%20Page%20-%20Calendar.svg "U365 - MAINT - Icon - Landing Page - Calendar")

#### Sequence the rollout.

Some companies switch on the review workflow and year-round context first, then bring surveys and eNPS online once managers are in the habit. Others roll everything out from day one to take advantage of the link between performance and engagement. It's totally your call. Every Upward365 feature is included from day one, so nothing you turn on later costs more.

What each one costs

## Every Upward365 feature. One transparent price.

Upward365 is $8 per user per month with a $4,000 annual minimum. Every Upward365 feature is included, performance and engagement in the same purchase, along with HRIS integrations, with no fee for setup, implementation or support. Your price is locked for your full contract term, and any change happens at renewal rather than mid-term. Features on the roadmap arrive at your price when they ship.

15Five also publishes its pricing. As of October 2026, it sells three tiers billed annually. Engage is $4 per user per month and carries engagement surveys and eNPS. Perform is $11 and carries reviews, 360 reviews, goals and 1-on-1s, but not engagement surveys. Total Platform is $16 and carries both. 15Five prices several add-ons separately and does not publish a general minimum spend.

The difference that matters after you sign is predictability: one line item, no tier to move into when you want both halves, and a rate that does not move until renewal.

## Upward365 is built for companies of 50 to 2,000 employees.

Upward365 can easily support larger organizations, but was designed for the small to mid-sized markets. If you're already outside that range, you may be better served by a platform focused on larger organizations.

If you are shopping for payroll, benefits administration or employee records, that is an HRIS and a separate purchase. Neither Upward365 nor 15Five is one, and Upward365 works alongside whatever system you use today.

If you are between 50 and 2,000 employees and want a platform your managers open and a person who knows your account and is there to help when you need it, that is exactly who Upward365 is built for.

Frequently Asked Questions

## Common Questions When Comparing Platforms

---

Is Upward365 a good 15Five alternative?

For companies between 50 and 2,000 employees that want performance and engagement in one purchase, yes. Upward365 includes Reviews, 360 reviews, Goals, Uplifts, Briefings, Notes, Flight Checks, History Hub, Pulse Surveys and eNPS at $8 per user per month with a $4,000 annual minimum. Organizations with more than 2,000 employees are usually shopping for a broader enterprise suite.

How much does 15Five cost compared to Upward365?

15Five publishes Engage at $4, Perform at $11 and Total Platform at $16 per user per month, billed annually. Performance and engagement together require Total Platform. Upward365 is $8 per user per month with both included and a $4,000 annual minimum. 15Five prices add-ons separately.

Does 15Five include engagement surveys in its performance plan?

No. As published in October 2026, engagement surveys and eNPS sit in the Engage tier and the Total Platform tier, not in Perform. A team on Perform at $11 would need to move to Total Platform at $16 to add them. On Upward365 both are included at $8.

Does Upward365 integrate with Slack or my HRIS?

Yes for HRIS. Upward365 integrates with BambooHR and other major HRIS platforms, at no additional cost. If you prefer, users can also be provisioned by CSV import with a template, and your Upward365 Account Manager will walk through the setup during implementation. Slack integration is on the roadmap and included at your $8 per user rate when it ships.

How hard is it to switch?

It is smaller than it sounds. The interface is straightforward enough that managers find their way around without a training manual, your Upward365 Account Manager handles configuration around your existing review calendar, and you can often import your team and start the same week.

Can we bring our existing review history into Upward365?

User and organizational data imports by CSV at setup, using a template. Historical reviews and other records cannot be imported in bulk, but they can be added to an employee's Notes one at a time, which means they surface in History Hub when a manager writes that employee's next review. The old records end up where a manager will read them rather than in a folder nobody opens.

Does Upward365 offer a free trial?

No. There are two ways to evaluate it instead. Book a Demo and your Upward365 Account Manager will walk you through the platform set up around how your team runs reviews. Or take the self-guided tour of a fully populated environment: name and email, at your own pace, no call required.

What kind of support does Upward365 provide?

A dedicated Account Manager who stays on your account from first call through setup and beyond, and you get their direct number. There is no handoff from sales to implementation to customer success. Upward365 is not a 24-hour call center, so there is no live agent at three in the morning. Questions and calls get an answer the same day, depending on the time the call comes in, and the founders are reachable. Support is not a paid tier. Every account gets the same Account Manager access. Our founders are hyper-focused on serving all customers at the highest possible level.

How long does implementation take?

You can often import your team and start the same week but this will depend on your availability and scheduling. Your Upward365 Account Manager helps you with configuration around your existing review calendar and runs your training sessions online, and most accounts are fully live within a month or sooner.

The practical difference is one focused product with a person behind it against a tier structure you choose between."

Upward365 includes Reviews, 360 reviews, Goals, Uplifts, Briefings, Notes, Flight Checks, History Hub, Pulse Surveys and eNPS at $8 per user per month with a $4,000 annual minimum. Organizations with more than 2,000 employees are usually shopping for a broader enterprise suite."

Slack integration is on the roadmap and included at your $8 per user rate when it ships."

Historical reviews and other records cannot be imported in bulk, but they can be added to an employee's Notes one at a time, which means they surface in History Hub when a manager writes that employee's next review. Our founders are hyper-focused on serving all customers at the highest possible level."
