The short answer

Upward365 is a focused performance and engagement platform for companies of 50 to 2,000 employees, built around one question: will your managers use it? Every account gets a named Account Manager who knows your configuration, and every Upward365 feature comes at one published price. Lattice is a broad talent platform sold by product, with performance, engagement and goals priced separately and assembled into a package. The practical difference is a tool your managers open and a person who picks up the phone, against a package you assemble and a support queue.

What is the difference between Upward365 and Lattice?

Upward365 is a performance and engagement platform for companies between 50 and 2,000 employees, built for manager adoption, with a dedicated Account Manager on every account and every Upward365 feature included at $8 per user per month. Lattice is a broad talent platform with performance, engagement and goals priced per product. The practical difference is a focused product with a person behind it against breadth you configure and pay for by piece.

What both platforms cover, and what Upward365 adds

The core is on both. The difference is what comes with it.

Both platforms run reviews and 360 reviews, cascading goals, recognition, 1:1 agendas, pulse surveys and eNPS. Upward365 covers that core, plus:

Engagement in the same purchase.

Pulse Surveys, eNPS and Uplifts are not a second product with a second price.

A named Account Manager with a direct number,

from your first call through setup and every renewal after it.

A price that holds.

Your rate is locked for your full contract term, and it is published.

Why managers open it

A platform only pays off if managers use it between review cycles.

managers_see_what_is_due_without_being_chased_3x

Managers see what is due without being chased.

The Dashboard To Do Queue shows every manager what needs attention and links straight to it, so HR stops sending reminder emails in December.

every_one_on_one_has_an_agenda_before_it_starts_3x

Every 1:1 has an agenda before it starts.

Briefings give managers and employees a shared agenda, so the platform is part of the conversation instead of an extra step after it.

the_annual_review_arrives_with_the_year_already_in_it_3x

The annual review arrives with the year already in it.

Notes, Uplifts and Flight Checks capture context as the year happens. History Hub surfaces it the moment the review opens, so the manager reads twelve months instead of reconstructing them. Annual reviews are the payoff of that year-round context, not a thing to get rid of.

engagement_sits_next_to_performance_3x

Engagement sits next to performance.

A dip in one is how you find out about the other in time to act. Reports pull both into a single layer for leadership.

A real person who knows your account

One Account Manager, from your first call onward.

Every Upward365 account gets a named Account Manager who handles your demo, implementation, configuration and ongoing support. They know how your review calendar is set up, you have their direct number, and questions and calls get an answer the same day. There is no handoff from sales to implementation to customer success, and the founders are reachable when you want them.

Switching to Upward365

One call to see whether it fits.

No pressure ever, and if the answer is no, we will say so on the call rather than after it. But the transition from another platform to Upward365 is straightforward and relatively easy.

import-icon

Your Account Manager sets it up around your calendar.

They work with you to configure the platform around how your review cycle already works and run your training sessions online. You can often import your team and start the same week, and most accounts are fully live within a month, and often sooner, depending on your availability.

Sequence the rollout.

Most companies switch on the review workflow and year-round context first, then bring surveys and eNPS online once managers are in the habit. Every Upward365 feature is included from day one, so nothing you turn on later costs more.

What each one costs

Every Upward365 feature. One transparent price.

Upward365 is $8 per user per month with a $4,000 annual minimum. Every Upward365 feature is included, performance and engagement in the same purchase, with no fee for setup, implementation or support. Your price is locked for your full contract term, and any change happens at renewal rather than mid-term.

Lattice also publishes its pricing. As of October 2026, its Foundations package is $13 per seat per month. Bought as separate products, Performance is $10, Engagement is $4 and Goals and OKRs is $8. Lattice bills annually with a $4,000 minimum annual agreement.

The difference that matters after you sign is predictability: one line item, no second product to buy for engagement, and a rate that does not move until renewal.

Upward365 is built for companies of 50 to 2,000 employees.

u365_compete_image_upward365_vs_lattice_g2

Upward365 can support larger organizations, but was designed for the small to mid-sized markets. If you’re already outside that range, you may be better served by a platform focused on larger organizations.

Organizations with more than 2,000 employees, with HR teams running programs across several countries and business units are shopping for an enterprise talent suite, and Lattice or another platform focusing on larger organizations may be a better fit.

If you need payroll, benefits administration or a system of record, you need an HRIS. Upward365 is not one, and Lattice exited that space in 2026.

If you are between 50 and 2,000 employees and want a platform your managers open and a person who knows your account and is there to help when you need it, that is exactly who Upward365 is built for.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions When Comparing Platforms

Is Upward365 a good Lattice alternative for a mid-market company?

For companies between 50 and 2,000 employees that want a platform managers use and a person who knows their account, yes. Upward365 covers Reviews, 360 reviews, cascading Goals, Uplifts, Briefings, Notes, Flight Checks, History Hub, Pulse Surveys and eNPS at $8 per user per month with a $4,000 annual minimum. Organizations well past 2,000 employees, or running HR across several countries, are usually shopping for a broader enterprise suite.

How much does Lattice cost compared to Upward365?

As of October 2026, Lattice publishes Foundations at $13 per seat per month, with Performance at $10 and Engagement at $4 as separate products. Upward365 is $8 per user per month with performance and engagement together. Both carry a $4,000 annual minimum. Lattice negotiates, so a quote may come in below list.

Does Upward365 charge extra for engagement?

No. Pulse Surveys, eNPS, Uplifts and Surveys are included at $8 per user per month. There is no engagement tier, no analytics upsell and no second contract.

Does Upward365 integrate with my HRIS?

Yes. Upward365 integrates with all major HRIS platforms at no additional cost. If you prefer, users can also be provisioned by CSV import with a template, and your Account Manager will walk through the setup during implementation.

Can we bring our existing review history into Upward365?

User and organizational data imports by CSV at setup, using a template. Historical reviews and other records cannot be imported in bulk, but they can be added to an employee's Notes one at a time, which means they surface in History Hub when a manager writes that employee's next review. The old records end up where a manager will read them rather than in a folder nobody opens.

Why did Lattice discontinue its payroll and HRIS products?

Based on multiple sources, it appears that Lattice ended payroll on March 31, 2026 and HRIS support on July 31, 2026, refocusing on performance management. If your team adopted those products, renewal is a natural moment to ask whether the platform you pay for is the one your managers open.

What kind of support does Upward365 provide?

A dedicated Account Manager who stays on your account from first call through setup and beyond, and you get their direct number. There is no handoff from sales to implementation to customer success. Upward365 is not a 24-hour call center, so there is no live agent at three in the morning. Questions and calls get an answer the same day, depending on the time the call comes in, and the founders are reachable. Support is not a paid tier. Every account gets the same Account Manager access. Our founders are hyper-focused on serving all customers at the highest possible level.

How long does implementation take?

You can often import your team and start the same week but this will depend on your availability and scheduling. Your Account Manager helps you with configuration around your existing review calendar and runs your training sessions online, and most accounts are fully live within a month or sooner.

The right tool is the one your people open.

And the one whose team picks up the phone. If that is what has been missing, take a look.
