Performance Management Software Pricing, Compared
The right tool is the one your people open. The right price is the one you can check.
Pricing in this category is hard to compare on purpose. Some vendors sell by tier, some by module, some by suite, and one does not publish a number at all. This page puts every published figure from six vendors in one place, with the date each was checked, and lines up the same configuration across all of them.
Last updated October 2026. Every competitor figure comes from that vendor's own pricing page on that date. Vendors change prices. Check yours.

The short answer
For performance and engagement together, published list rates run from $5 to $16 per user per month across the vendors that publish them. Before you compare those rates, two things matter more than the headline number: which plan holds the capability you need, and what minimum sits under the per-seat rate. Upward365 publishes one price, $8 per user per month with a $4,000 annual minimum, and every Upward365 feature is included. Most other vendors in the category split performance and engagement across tiers or separate products.
Published rates run from $4 to $25 per employee per month depending on vendor and tier. For performance and engagement together, published list rates run from $5 to $17 per user per month, before negotiation, minimums and add-ons. Upward365 is $8 per user per month with every feature included and a $4,000 annual minimum.
What every vendor covers, and what Upward365 adds
The core is everywhere. The difference is how it is priced.
Every vendor on this page runs performance reviews in some form, and most offer engagement surveys and goals. Upward365 covers that core, plus:
Engagement in the same purchase.
Pulse Surveys, eNPS and Uplifts are not a second product, a higher tier or a separate module.
No add-on list.
No compensation upsell, no paid coaching credits, no support level that answers faster.
HRIS integrations included at the same $8,
so Upward365 works with the system of record you already run.
A price that holds.
Your rate is locked for your full contract term, with no mid-term increases, and features on the roadmap arrive at that price when they ship.
Why managers open it
The cheapest platform is the one managers use between review cycles.
A price per seat means little if the seats go unused. Upward365 is built around one question: will your managers use it?

Managers see what is due without being chased.
The Dashboard To Do Queue shows every manager what needs attention and links straight to it.

Every 1:1 has an agenda before it starts.
Briefings give managers and employees a shared agenda.

The annual review arrives with the year already in it.
Notes, Uplifts and Flight Checks capture context as the year happens, and History Hub surfaces it the moment the review opens.

Engagement sits next to performance.
Reports pull both into a single layer for leadership.
A real person who knows your account
Support is not a pricing tier.
Every Upward365 account gets a named Account Manager who handles your demo, implementation, configuration and ongoing support, with a direct number and a same-day answer. Support is the same on every account. Compare that with what the category publishes: Leapsome's Customer Success services require an annual contract of €6,000 or $6,000 or more, with email and a help center below that threshold.

The same configuration, priced six ways.
This table prices one configuration across all six vendors: performance reviews and engagement surveys, for everyone, on an annual contract.

Reviews plus Surveys modules, priced per module by quote
All six bill annually. Every figure is a published list rate. Lattice, 15Five, BambooHR and PerformYard all negotiate, and BambooHR applies volume discounts it does not publish. Expect to negotiate at most of these vendors. The table shows where the conversation starts and how far apart the vendors are, not the invoice. Check the minimum column too, because at smaller headcounts the floor is frequently the real price.
PerformYard's range is wide because they publish a range, and where a company lands depends on headcount and a sales conversation. Leapsome cannot be placed because it does not publish per-module pricing, which means a buyer cannot budget for it without a call.
Switching to Upward365
One call to see whether it fits.
No pressure ever, and if the answer is no, we will say so on the call rather than after it.
Your Account Manager sets it up around your calendar.
They configure the platform around how your review cycle already works and run your training sessions online. HRIS integrations connect your existing system of record, or you can import your team by CSV with a template. Most accounts are fully live within a month, often sooner, depending on your availability.
Sequence the rollout.
Most companies switch on the review workflow and year-round context first, then bring surveys and eNPS online once managers are in the habit. Every Upward365 feature is included from day one, so nothing you turn on later costs more.
What each one costs
Five pricing structures, and the difference between them is where the money goes.
Tier boundaries. 15Five publishes the clearest example in the category. Engagement surveys and eNPS sit in the Engage tier at $4. Reviews, 360s and OKRs sit in Perform at $11. A company that wants both moves to Total Platform at $16. The same "performance and engagement" request is priced at four dollars, eleven dollars or sixteen, depending on which half you ask for.
Products sold separately. Lattice prices Performance, Goals and OKRs, and Engagement as three products. Performance plus Engagement is $14 per seat at list. Add compensation and career development and it is $24. The headline $13 Foundations price and the price of a working performance and engagement setup are different numbers.
The tier where performance appears. BambooHR’s Core plan at $10 is an HR system of record. Performance management sits in the Pro plan at $17, and BambooHR does not publish engagement as a distinct product. For a company with BambooHR for records that wants review cycles, the decision is a tier change across the entire headcount.
Minimums and support thresholds. Leapsome's Customer Success services require an annual contract of €6,000 or US$6,000 or more. Lattice and Upward365 both carry a $4,000 annual minimum. BambooHR charges a flat floor of roughly $250 a month at 25 employees or fewer. None of those numbers appear next to the per-seat rate, and every one of them changes what a small company pays.
Add-ons. 15Five publishes compensation at $9 or $11 per user, AI meeting notes at $2 per employee, an AI coach at $19 per manager, manager content at $49 per manager and live coaching at $399 a credit. Lattice adds compensation at $6 and career development at $4. PerformYard's Talent Development suite is a second purchase. BambooHR prices payroll, benefits administration, time tracking and employer of record separately.
Upward365 is $8 per user per month with a $4,000 annual minimum. Every Upward365 feature is included, along with HRIS integrations, with no fee for setup, implementation or support and no add-on list. Your price is locked for your full contract term, and any change happens at renewal rather than mid-term.
Upward365 is built for companies of 50 to 2,000 employees.

Upward365 can support larger organizations, but it was designed for the small to mid-sized market. Organizations with more than 2,000 employees, with HR teams running programs across several countries and business units, are usually shopping for an enterprise talent suite.
If you need payroll, benefits administration or a system of record, you need an HRIS. Upward365 is not one. Its sole focus is helping employees perform better and stay engaged, and it integrates with the HRIS you already run.
If you are between 50 and 2,000 employees and want one published price, a platform your managers open and a person who knows your account, that is who Upward365 is built for.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions When Comparing Platforms
Published rates in this category run from $4 to $25 per employee per month, depending on vendor and tier, and most vendors price performance and engagement separately or across different plans, before negotiation, minimums, and add-ons.
For performance and engagement together, published list rates run from $5 to $16 per user per month. PerformYard publishes a $5 to $15 range with the exact figure quoted per company. Upward365 publishes a fixed $8 per user per month with every Upward365 feature included and a $4,000 annual minimum, so there is no range to negotiate inside.
15Five, BambooHR, Lattice, PerformYard and Upward365 all publish rates. Leapsome publishes its module list but not per-module pricing, so a Leapsome configuration requires a quote. All six bill annually.
Often, and it is not always on the pricing page. Lattice and Upward365 both publish a $4,000 annual minimum. BambooHR charges a flat monthly floor of roughly $250 for teams of 25 or fewer. Leapsome requires a €6,000 or US$6,000 annual contract to access its Customer Success services. 15Five and PerformYard publish no general minimum.
On some vendors, yes. On 15Five, engagement surveys sit in the Engage tier at $4 and are not in the Perform tier at $11, so having both requires Total Platform at $16. On Lattice, Engagement is a separate $4 product. PerformYard includes engagement in its Performance suite. Upward365 includes it at $8 with no separate tier.
Three questions. Which plan holds the specific capability you described, since engagement surveys and performance reviews often live in different plans. What the minimum is and where it is written, so it appears in the quote rather than in conversation. And what happens to your price when a roadmap feature ships and at renewal, since not every vendor commits to either.
Yes. HRIS integrations are included at $8 per user per month. Users can also be provisioned by CSV import with a template.
The right tool is the one your people open.
And the right price is one you can check without a sales call. If that is what you have been looking for, take a look.
